The Joyce A. Pulliam Praise Team leads the prayer and praise sessions 15 minutes before Sunday 11:15am Worship Services. We are also in charge of the Praise and Worship portion of the Sunday 8:00am Services.

With praise and worship being the foundation of our ministry, The Joyce A. Pulliam Praise Team strives for Kingdom excellence in the areas of worship. Our goal is to restore the heart of worship in our Richmond community and the entire world. Also, we want to identify, nurture, and develop individuals that God has chosen and purposed to be leaders and examples in the ministry of music.
Through fresh, innovative praise and heartfelt worship, The Joyce A. Pulliam Praise Team is striving to change the spiritual climate within Richmond and the world. Most importantly, we desire a daily, intimate relationship with God which results in obedience to Him out of our genuine love for Him.
God has purposed Sharon to serve as an example and lead others into a true state of worship. This true state of Worship is born out of individuals who have a pure love and thirst for God in their heart, while developing a desire to live a life of submission and obedience to the will of God.
Our foundation is our heart's desire to please God. (Psalms 27:4-8). We believe that individuals who possess the same heart's desire will allow for the Glory of God to be ushered in.
We hope that through the praise and worship at Sharon, you can establish a place of worship (in your heart) that releases a healing for the hurting, freedom for the captive and hope for the hopeless, and setting at liberty those who have been crushed.
