THE PASTOR’S VISION FOR HOLISTIC MINISTRIES FOR THE 21st CENTURY CHURCH
PASTOR’S VISION STATEMENT:
"I see The Sharon Baptist Church moving forward in being a church which offers ministries for the whole person. A holistic church must provide ministries that will meet the various needs that people are faced with today".
JESUS SET THE EXAMPLE:
Jesus not only dealt with man’s spiritual needs, but was also concerned with and had compassion for man’s mental and physical needs. His compassion caused Him to do more than observe his surroundings. It caused Him to act and to make a difference.

WHAT DOES THIS VISION LOOK LIKE?
In the natural it appears to be beyond the scope of The Sharon Baptist Church but in the spirit, it is big because GOD is big.
Therefore each of us most not look at it from our view, but rather allow GOD to elevate us to His view, and then we can see that it really is not too big for us to do.

• Former Warehouse Building – multipurpose Health Center and Banquet Hall.
• Future Properties – day care center, fitness/sport/recreation center, senior residents, parking lot(s).
VISION FOR TRANSPORTATION
Current vehicles – bus, two vans
Changes to transportation ministry
• Pick up parishioners for Sunday 8:00am, 9:30am and 11:15am Services;
• Wednesday Noonday service and evening Bible Study and Prayer Service.

• Pick up residents of designated Nursing Homes, Adults Homes, and Senior/Disabled Apartment Buildings.
• Pick up children if parents are unable to get them to church/youth ministries activities
• Take members to medical appointments
• Obtain a 47 Passenger Coach.
VISION FOR MEDIA MINISTRY
• Upgrade camera equipment
• Produce videos for Sick and Shut-in members
• Produce videos for our Armed Forces members
• Explore converting to a CD/DVD Media
• Begin an automated telephone messaging system
